The track is from “Martyn Bennett”. A list member told me so on an email and said that he placed that track on the Blacksmoke server. The album is called - Martyn Bennett -  2003 – Grit and the song is called Liberation.

Seb, thanks for posting the link to the Blacksmoke Rising. Excellent version. A couple of followup questions I've been meaning to ask for ages:

Olav's ftp site (Olav and Rob: Thanks for a great resouce btw) has a track credited to Blacksmoke called Open The Gates. The vocal consists of a preacher shouting about opening the gates of righteousness. Anyone know where this is from ? It's not in the discography and I don't remember it appearing on the Blacksmoke website.

And, anyone know what tracks were on the Blacksmoke demo that was being sold on ebay a while back ?
