[KLF] A Brilliant query

I recently won an ebay job lot of 5 Brilliant 12" singles and the LP "Kiss the Lips of Life". Can anyone confirm that early Brilliant (such as "Wait For It" and "Colours") DOESN'T feature Jimmy, and theat JC only joined for the "Kiss the Lips" sessions onwards? Also - did anyone on this list actually start buying KLF records ("1987", etc) through being a fan of Brilliant first?
