Hi all, My Top Five Dance/Techno/Electronic albums KLF - The White Room No explanations required here. Yello - 1980-1985: The New Mix In One Go Good remixes, and not as cheesy as the "Hands on Yello" album. (Though if anybody has a spare copy of the ultra rare DOUBLE CD version of Hands on Yello, send me a message.) As far as regular albums by Yello go, "Baby" is the best for listening to from start to finish. Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene Really hard to place one of his albums above all others. Sure he's written a few duds tracks here and there, but on some albums every track is a corker. Oxygen gets the prize for sentimental reasons. Third Eye - Third Eye Don't know how many non-Aussie on the list will know this one. Third Eye is basically Ollie Olsen, who was the talented half of "Max Q" along with Michael Hutchens. A really strong electronic/techno album, and Olsen's cover of "The Real Thing" is a thing of beauty. Trance Atlantic Airwaves - The Energy of Sound Michel Cretu (of Enigma fame) doing covers of electronic/techno classics like "Axel F", "Crockett's Theme" and "Magic Fly". Do I really have to stop at just 5?? Honourable mentions: Utah Saints - Utah Saints, Shamen - Boss Drum, Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells II, Information Society - Hack, The Art of Noise - The Best of The Art Of Noise (Artworks 12"), and Two Unlimited - Get Ready (for pure cheesiness!)
