Recently I started reading a book from Clive Barker called 'Elfsprook' in dutch, I don't know it's english name right now, anyway, it's about little dwarves and elfs living in forests intertwined with irish folklore stories. All in all a quite dull and badly-written experience in my humble opinion, but I just could not resist suspecting somehow the whole story would be relate to the Illuminati once again. Or maybe I just received too many mails from this list, was what I was thinking. Not wanting to spoil the plot, let me just say that the while story unfolded into a big conspiracy theory explaining that the Illuminati are nothing more than the guardians of these elf-people and related ones, being financed by the gold the dwarves are known to delve. The story tells that these 'magic people' are actually endangered species even. An older name for those Illuminati protecting the magic people (or: "Good poeple", as they are called in the book) are actually 'druids'. And so on and so on... Since this book originates from ca. 1985 it's quite interesting to read that part, although that was actually the only good part about the whole book.
