Good one - I've always wondered who did this remix... There is a full version of it (i.e. non-edit) on the 12" and 3" CD single. I'm presuming that it's got nothing to do with The Orb or Orbital, and is rather a comment on the house parties of the day (i.e. M25 Orbital parties, which is where Orbital got their name from)? Can anyone confirm this? l8rs, Nick ;-)
Just found a 7"record by Jesus Loves You called "After The Love". This is one of the songs that is sampled into the chillout-version of "3-am eternal". The version on the A-side (10 glorious years edit) has the same, or a nearly similar beat as 6pm-electro (haven't copared them directly yet).
The B-side is a "orbital house edit" (the reason I bought it), and my question is who did remix: a) Orbital b) Alex Patterson (the Orb) c) Alex Patterson and Jimmy Cauty (the Orb) d) Someone else
The record is from 1989, and I think this rules out Orbital. No remix-credits is given, but the style seems a bit similar to various Orb-mixes. I can't find any info of this remix in any orb discography.
