Subject: re: [KLF] What is there left to Kollect
Hi John and list,
I've not posted for a couple of years now but I find it hard to believe it was
over 9 years since the FTM gig at the Barbican. I met a few of you there and
then some more on later M25 spins.
With the passing of time I've been thinking of selling some things from my
Kollection but I've not bought/sold vinyl over ebay and wondered if anyone
could recommend what kind/where to get the right packaging for sending vinyl
and with the new postage tariffs in the UK what kind of cost it might be for
say a single 12" LP.
I can't remember where I got it from but I do have both the regular and the
Aussie version of History Of The Jams CD. If anyone wants to make a fair offer
for it let me know or I'll stick it up on ebay. I've got an assortment of other
bits including 1 (maybe 2) WFTROM CD's, The Kalevala singles (inc 'Gimpo'
signed by Gimpo!), an FTM kit bag (pretty sure all the contents are still in
it) and also I was one of the lucky ones to receive the infamous Dutton VHS
compilation.
I'd be interested to guage what kind of price I might expect on ebay for those
even if you're not interested in them yourself.
Fnord.

I was browsing through Ebay earlier today (JAMSCD4 "buy it now" for
£100, anyone?) and wondered - what is still worth getting excited about in KLF
collecting circles? CHOC ICES, USAPROMOs, Love Trances, etc seem to appear
regularly now.
Here's what I think is "still exciting" (even if some might not
exist):
CDs: Eternity Project One, History of the JAMs Possum edition, No More Tears
(French promo), What Time is Love (the Coma CD with the "Primal
Mix"), Marathon "Love Park" (3" CD with Orbital mixes)
Vinyl: KLF010RR (haven't seen one of them for four years, and it was German
import); ETERNITY 1 (Ebay once threw up a backwards-mastered 12" of this,
I think - but not the three-tracker); KLF8T (the original Last Train, or even
the sleeves with "The White Room - Pure Trance 5" written on them);
Last Train (Benio Dub)
Any views?
