Subject: [KLF] The "groove" in WTIL Moody
Boys Remix
Hey all, i dont post often so i always say hello when i do!
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the awesome modulated
synth groove that makes up the main hook of the Moody Boys' version of
WTIL.
I always assumed it was a synth line written as part of
the remix but does anyone know if it is a sample, maybe from another
house record for example or another sound that has been processed?
Reason why i asked is that i was listening to Madlib's "Blunted In The
Bomb Shelter" collection of old reggae and dub nuggets and the bridging
soundscape into King Tubby's "Rougher Version" is the same hook, which made me
wonder where it came from!
If i a missing something hugely obvious then apologies but im just curios
as to where it comes from and if anyone knows.
Cheers,
Ronnie
