Yup, that's my webpage! ;-> "Kompressor" is the name for Andy Barker (of 808 State) and one other person (Wayne Martin). The edit was released (momentarily) on the website as an MP3, but has since been pulled, although I believe that the version played elsewhere on the website is the Kompressor edit. When I last spoke to Gerald about his mix, he said that he hadn't (yet) had time to finish the mix - this was a couple of months ago, so I'll try and remember to ask him when I next see him (which shouldn't be that long...) That update from the 12/02/2003 was simply a mail received from Blacksmoke, which ran as thus: ------- "Do you have a release date for both the single and also the Blacksmoke album?" Nope, info will appear on the website when we're ready. "Also, do you know if A Guy Called Gerald has been confirmed as remixing 'Gimpo Gimpo'?" Yes. :) BLACK SMOKE" ------- Hope this helps, and if you need any more info on either of the two "Indie Top 20" CD's (volumes 6 & 8), let me know. Volume 6, in particular, is fairly difficult to get hold of on CD, especially as it also features "Kylie Said To Jason" on it! l8rs, Nick ;-) -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of john MILNE Sent: 28 June 2003 16:28 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [KLF] Blacksmoke Vs. A Guy Called Gerald Hi all, Whilst trailing the net for info on this "Indie Top 20 CD", I came across the following: http://homepages.force9.net/king1/Updates.htm, which states that A Guy Called Gerald and Andy Barker from 808 State are both due to remix "Gimpo Gimpo" whenever and if ever it gets released. Scroll down to the updates dated 9/02/2003 and 12/02/2003. John
