Also the rather dated but still undeniably catchy 'Unbelievable' by EMF (well it was a hit here) repeated the refrain "Whoa...what the what the fuck was that?" over and over again. Not sure what Radio 1 thought they were singing....
An early example of blaspheming in the charts was Pink Floyd's 'Candy and a Currant Bun' (b-side of 'Arnold Layne') when the godlike Syd Barrett can be heard to utter the immortal lines "Ooh don't talk to me...please just fuck with me"

That Eamon single is annoyingly catchy but I don't find swearing in records very big or clever unless the swearing isn't bleeped out and still makes the charts.
In 1989, Prince had the word 'fuck' clearly audible several times in his UK NO.2 'Batdance' although the official lyrics say it's 'funk' .
The Bomfunk MCs went further by getting to NO.2 with full radio airplay and the published lyric which includes the line
'Like Debbie Does Dallas,
Yeah We Come Scandalous,
but Who The Fuck is Alice?
Is she from Buckingham Palace?"
This is big and clever:-)

"The Man Don't Give A Fuck" by Super Furry Animals I think has the
F-Word 50 times. Plus, it's a great record! I've seen them play it live,
and they just leave the sample looping as they leave the stage. It just
goes on and on...

Subject: [KLF] Eamon vs KLF
Hi
I'll try sending this e-mail again... now that I've updated my details
with
Xmission (new e-mail address!)
Just got one of those useless facts e-mails today, usually I just delete
them but this one got me thinking a bit about The KLF. The useless
fact was that there are 26 swear words in Eamon's song - Fuck it (I
don't want you back). I then thought I wonder how many swear words were
in ***K The Millennium. Just counted and there are 27 (omg so close!!
I thought there were more) - looks like KLF are still the masters at
knowing how to swear in a song!
Anyone know of any other songs with more swear words in?
