Another thought, how is it possible to mispress backwards? Surely if it is a mispress, the whole process must have been messed up and very costly. The Mother stampers would have been all wrong. Is it possible the reverse press wasn't a mispress but intentional? A weird kind of b-side.
I've been thinking about this too and I just can't figure out how it could be possible to this by accident. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDduaWNX2fo&t=73 tells how it is done, and backwards mispress has to backwards from beginning, meaning first lacquer. http://standardvinyl.com/vinyl-pressing/lacquers-masters/ But what I understood that in backwards press also ETERNA and ADRENALIN are ANRETE and NILANERDA, backwards, I don't know what has happenede. Also in old list posts it is said that "ETERNA 1 was the test pressing, and KLF 011T was the record due for release." but usually test presses were exactly same as test pressings, meaning two different cat# requires two different masters (and lacquers). I think it might have been intentional. -- anttil.
