ahh, yes, stuart strikes again with another succinct overview of the cut and thrust of heated debate. As ever a good summary of this mornings events. Now i'm off to see if i can have a listen to these U2 mixes, the reviews so far have wet my appetite. By the way, Does anyone know if Mr Cauty still resides at his devon farmhouse or is he now resident elsewhere with all this new musical activity? Also he was due to play with Alex Paterson at a gig around now has it happened? Anyone go? What was it like? James
The original post wasn't a question of whether or not the FTP is useful. It undoubtedly is, but that's not really the point.
The question was whether, since there are so many posts on this list about the FTP, it might be time to set up a seperate list, which all the people who use the FTP can join and on which they can discuss the FTP site to their heart's content, while people with no interest in the FTP don't keep getting e-mails about it. Personally I think it's a good idea, and suggesting a seperate list for the FTP is no disrespect to the FTP site or RM or anybody...
