well, whoever was complaining about the recycling aspect of some Enigma tracks will be well impressed with the first track off A Posteriori :-) so far, i don't mind the 6th album. i've not objected to anything yet, although it'll take a few more listenings, particularly on the ipod, to work out if i like the album lots, or if it'll just be there to complete the collection as for the previous albums: - MCMXC AD - like everyone else, it's a great album. it sounds dated now perhaps, but probably because i played it so much in the early 90s. mea culpa is still fantastic played loud - The Cross of Changes - i seem to be one of the few people who never really liked this album. i only really like Eyes of Truth and Carly's Song - Le Roi Est Mort Vive Le Roi - i liked this album a lot, mainly because i really like TNT For the Brain, Why and Roundabout a lot - The Screen Behind the Mirror - again, i wasn't disapointed by this album either - i like the pace of Push The Limits, Silence Must Be Heard, Gravity of Love (i mostly like listening to Sandra's vocals) and Camera Obscura gives me that spine tingle that i also get in Rivers of Belief - Voyager - i've tried really really hard to like this album. to even find one track i really like. but so far, i've yet to find it. i suspect Cretu realised he was getting flak for the sameyness of the previous albums, and so tried something different - but it doesn't work the new album though, it's interesting. stand out track so far has to be The Alchemist - very Jarre-ish Feel Me Heaven i like too (although again, easy to say it's a bit Equinox Part 4or5 - maybe i've just got JMJ tracks on my mind this evening) i think most of the first 2/3rds of the album i'll end up liking - the rest i'll probably skip though and yes, TAAW really needs a 2nd album - or a re-release of the Axel F track with Pulstar on the b-side.
