Spare us the histrionics, please. Loaded posts like this, added to misunderstandings, are the way a discussion changes from being a simple suggestion about e-mail posting arrangements, to an argument about FTPs, ingratitude and lack of appreciation, list friendship, bad posting etiquette... It's ridiculous in general, and some of the posts on this subject in the last 48 hours have been ridiculous specifically as well... How can something so small blow out of all proportion so quickly, that's what amazes me. Quite clearly the idea of putting "[FTP]" in the subject line of any post regarding the FTP is the most popular option.
