Actually, what about a klf.de/mailing list tribute album - might that work? Not a remix, but a proper cover versions project (since the KLF Vs. project seems to have stopped). There's plenty of musicians on the list - I'm not one of them, though - so it might be worth mentioning.

Actually, one of the ideas for the first Remodelled & Remixed CD I had was to make each song sound like it has been remixed by well-known remixers by sampling their tracks/mixes and try to match their style. So with your suggested list of artists covering KLF songs, I further nominate....
