Hey,
Years ago I joined this list, browsed it for a bit, had a few e-mails exchanged with John Milne and went away. One of the things I promised John was that I would upload a Geordie cover version of 'Its Grim Up North' that I had, but I lost the record. I've since moved house and its turned up again! I don't know much about it really. I bought it from Volume Records in Sunderland in late 1991. Its pretty rubbish to be fair, but the end of it where it turns into Blaydon Races instead of Jerusalem might raise a titter!
Excuse the pops and crackles of the vinyl - since the coal mines shut here we haven't be able to afford decent pressing plants. . .

Enjoy!
Darren.
