Well, it's a fine line between trying to do some good and people thinking you're trying to rip everyone off! :)

I know little about Pure Trance 3 per se, although Miles copy that I was bidding on a few months back was certainly a double-sided version.  However, several people I spoken to since say that one was really unusual as 'Monster Attack' apparently came out as a single-sided white label as well.  Who knows...

And the prize for the most honest bootlegger in the world goes to...Chris Peel! Respect!

On the same subject can anyone confirm that the 'original' copies of Love Trance did have the Monster Attack mix on the other side? Because I seem to remember some copies (or boots) having a slightly different mix of Love Trance on the flip, or even a smooth B-side ie. one-sided?

All

As a precursor to my planned 'rare KLF tracks' LP that I'm hoping to get
pressed up in the new year I'm also getting Pure Trance 3 ("Love Trance")
pressed up on 12" format. The run will be limited to 10 test pressings and
will feature Love Trance on side A and the Monster Attack Mix of What Time
Is Love? on the reverse.

Given the strictly limited number being pressed, even though they're not
originals, I'm guessing demand will be fairly high - therefore I'm planning
on putting 5 copies up for grabs on eBay, with one being auctioned each
month starting (hopefully) from January 23rd. I haven't decided what I'm
going to do with the remaing 5 copies yet.

I sent the master off to the pressing plant today so, all being well, I
should receive them in a couple of weeks time (Christmas post
notwithstanding). I'll post a message to this list immediately before I
list the item.

Chris
