This is the problem, though, we're talking "personally". We've all got our own personal "best of" in our minds (it's ALL in the mind, arguably) and we need to agree on some set of rules for what's in and what's out. I do like the idea of kicking the whole thing off with something a bit more "recognisable" than "All You Need is Love" (even in its 7" edit form). What about having "3 AM Eternal (SSL)" first, then the ENT mix replacing it in the "chronological" tracklisting? I suppose a lot of people have different things playing in their cars (I eschew everything but Radio 4 - the station, not the crap Alan McGee band - for example) but "driving music" has a certain image/sound in many people's imagination. 70s rock (like the song "Convoy"), thumping techno blasting out of teenager's car's windows on a Saturday night, wide open spaces. All of these have certain elements in KLF. Fuck it, why not start the thing off with Jimmy's remix of the Herbie theme? ;-) It's arguably the latest musical thing he's done, as well.

Our car is currently spewing out of the speakers 70's old-school dub, japanese psych and drones (cheers Boredoms / Acid Mothers etc ...) - shall we just say that our in car musical tastes might just differ somewhat .. don;t actually think there is a single thing in there which might be classed 'happy-bouncin-choons' :>... personally a cd containg of less of the 4-on-da-floor fodder would be more pleasing the these ears ....
