I agree with much of what's been said so far. It must be incredibly galling to constantly be brought back to something you did X number of years ago. But there's a certain stage where something you've created is simply beyond your control and becomes almost public property. I think The KLF's act of deleting their back catalogue was their attempt to reclaim some control over a joke which they think went too far. But thankfully you can't delete history, you can't uninvent something. And I'm sure one day, when they're through pissing about doing other things, they'll get nostalgic for the old days when the world was singing their song and they'll rerelease everything.
