I have an MPEG 2 encoder for Nero Burning rom and it will make SVCD and all that format with menus I think. I have not fooled with t cus my processor is old and I am trying to bet another mobo. I have all the KLF on mpeg on my FTP site. I would like to get in on this and help if I could. I can donate any Software that might be needed...if you know what I mean. I can get them in VCD & SVCD format. SVCD is like a mini DVD on a CDr but only 45 minutes long.
When you say "is like a mini DVD", do you mean that it also uses VOB files like a DVD? If so, this would be the ideal format as it would mean somewhere down the line, as DVD writers get cheaper, etc., somebody could write a menu system and place them all on the one disc. The picture quality of DVD over VCD is very noticeable. You wouldn't want to take VCDs and encode them on to DVD.
There is an option to get them DVDed but that's gonna cost me too much.
Probably only because it requires the menu-system, etc. to be mastered as well. (And because they *can* charge a premium.) DVD-R discs are only 20 or 30 quid I thought. So if somebody was willing to put in the time themselves to create the menus, etc. at some point in the future, we could see "The KLF DVD Kollection" sooner than you think!
