Hi, just my two pence for this...
I have no idea what the record actually looks like - but the presence of a (very good sound quality) Lover's Side extended version and a Madrugada Eterna (Club Mix) without all the pops and crackles the Dutton 12" has, suggests that its, if not entirely genuine, then at least made up by someone VERY close to the band (didn't Youth and Alex and B & J have a sort of thing going with limited editions for friends only back in '89 - like the WTIL (Monster Attack Mix) and possibly Love Trance?)
The record itself is a white label without sleeve or cover. As far as I can recall, the runout groove was "DS-1 A" and "DS-1 B" and there _might_ have been that Adrenalin writing... After that visit, I recorded that MiniDisc digitally onto my harddisc and I must say that especially "Lovers' Side" sounds great. Just like every other KLF track on vinyl sounds. No pops or clicks by the way. I think the person who still owns it has never played it! Deep Shit, however, sounds crappy. I suppose they ripped "The Queen And I" off their own 1987 copies without having still the master tapes. That would explain the bad quality. The only thing that counts is that I know that this record is genuine. Hope this helps. :) Dan --- a.k.a. Kuta, KLF Online (www.klf.de)
