i think they read the shag times cover, found a copy and could not believe it and just assumed it would sell for that much, especially after all this time.

When i was at school around 93', i found a red one (not knowing what colour it was meant to be) for �12.  Rang a friend who couln't believe it either, thinking it must be worth �1000.
