Andy,
This is great. I am going to get a graphic design friend to edit this slightly, as it differs a little from the one on the car, but this is a prefect starting point for it. If you look closely you’ll see the speaker circles on the car come out almost to the edge, and there is a little more detail above the tape deck. I think the ‘pyramid’ also needs sizing up in comparison to the ‘blaster’. This is awesome though – and an essential point to start from.
Jai, I’ve seen those overhead shots before – thanks for sending the link. I’ll see if I can get the same guy to copy them.
Cheers guys, I’ll report back with some results soon I hope.
Ross

Try this
It's a 26MB 300DPI 60cm wide B&W 2D pyramid blaster PDF

We’re intending to get vinyl cut decals for everything except the ‘To Serve And Protect’ part. These vinyl decals are apparently so thin that unless you inspect them very closely you wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise.
We’re planning on getting To Serve…… airbrushed on.
Cheers

I have vinyl & an A3 scanner so I'll have a go later tonight. I'll see what a 60cm wide 300dpi pyramid blaster look like.
Were you planning on spraying the car or getting vinyl cut "decals"?

Nice one Jai - since I left my copy of 1987 in an attic in Thame back in
about 1998 I'd failed to realise the PB was on there.
If anyone can scan an image that would be great.
Jai, I thought the same as you, that the rooftop 23 was a bit thicker, but I
think when you look at it from a birds eye view it just looks a bit thinner
than when you catch a glimpse of it occasionally from the side. Notice the
numbers 2355 behind the rear side windows on The White Room use the same
font as the roof and front wings, at 18 minutes and 57 seconds there is a
clear shot of it.

I used to have all the logos somewhere.
Although, to be honest, they probably wouldn't be considered hi-res these
days.
If you can get a hi-res scan of the cover of 1987, then you could take the
pyramid blaster from the middle of the logo there and blow it up to the size
required. the four marks around it are just lightening zigzags to represent
the music soundwaves aren't they? should be easy to create something
similar.
Can be seen clearly in the Dotorin' the Tardis video (which I'm sure you
already know) (it's on a scan of a letterhead too - not quite the same
version as is on the doors though -
http://www.klf.de/home/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/jamms-201-sheet.jpg)
Also, here's an overhead shot (again, am sure you've already got this from
google) http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~stuey/klf/beatmastersvideo-cars.jpg
I never realised the KLF logo on the back was different from the front.
Looks like the one on the front is a stretched version of the one in the top
left here : http://www.klf.de/home/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/merch023.jpg
the one on the back is almost the same but the inside of the diamond is
white.
Also, i thought i'd see it with the 23 in the thicker, rounder standard klf
font?
I'll have a dig around and see if i can find the old graphics files i had.
at the very least, would be able to use them as a template, blow them up to
a decent size, and then create a smoother version at a resolution that'll be
suitable for your sign writers. do you know what kind of image file they
require? what formats do they accept? (jpeg? tiff? eps?)
