Hi all, Just been browsing eBay (as you do) and I am shocked to see that people are still bidding over 50 quid for bootleg compilation videos. Do these people know what they are getting? Now don't get me wrong... I own one of these too. I bought mine for around 15 quid, which I still thought was overpriced, but what the hell... there were interviews and stuff on there that I had never seen. If somebody out there (with more free time than me) got together some decent quality masters and did even a rough DVD encoding of the lot, can you imagine what sort of prices they would be fetching? Isn't there anyone out there motivated enough by this "make money fast" scheme to go and do it? You could probably sell a number of copies at over 50 quid each before the prices would have to drop more reasonable in order to maintain sales. (20 quid would be my maximum price for a bootleg DVD.) But given the actual raw material costs are far less than that, it would still be a good business. So how about it somebody? Somebody? Bueller? Michael
