Hello Thanks for the help everyone. Just to clear up, I checked the 3AM Eternal 7" and it is definitely single sided with Top of the Pops Remix written across the label in print. So I guess this is the mail order release! Nice! A lot of my KLF records came from a friend who I used to swap records with. So that's why I don't know where some of them originated from. We were both avid record collectors at the time. Just to make you all sick ;-) ,,, our local record shop (knaresbourgh, UK) often bagged up unknown / not selling very well 12" singles, put them in a bag of 5 and sold them for 99p. Well my friend bought a bag, only to find it contained 5 white label promo's of early JAMs stuff with hand written notes / labels by Jimmy and Bill. Shame you don't get that everyday! Rich
I also have a single sided 7" Top of The Pops remix of (I think) 3AM Eternal. I have been told this is quite rare, can anyone give me some info on it? How many copies are out there and how it came about?
This isn't the ENT single, this is a pressing of 3AM with the intro removed.[Gunfire OK everyone...]
If it is the Top Of The Pops Remix, then it would be the ENT single, because it has written Top Of The Pops on it with large black letters... <smartass mode> The single you are referring to is the Radio Freedom Edit, and I never heard anyone saying "OK everyone" on 3 a.m. eternal... ;-) </smartass mode> --- Thomas Touzimsky International Man Of Mystery
