there is lots of info out there showing how corrupt the political system is, I dont take anything as gospel but do you really doubt the majority of it? Say only 5 percent of it were true thats still a big deal you know. Does everyone check out the claims of the News on their Sky TV or newspaper? There are plenty of people doing research and not all are over the top characters like Alex Jones or David Icke. What about whats been said by Noam Chomsky, John Pilger, Michael Moore, Jello Biafra, Michael Ruppert, Mark Thomas, Bill Hicks, Arundhati Roy, etc they are all very respectable and very clever people, and do you doubt their claims or know anything about their stuff? Check out Jon Ronson's book 'them' where he is also skeptical about such things but finds out and looses his bottle, leaving the book with no real conclusion but the facts are there. what about the fact that the bush family is far too corrupt to ever be in the running for any position of power, but I could have started 1 million well researched websites but unless many people are talking about such subjects it would mean anything so talking to people with taste would be surely be a start, or do you all just like the beats.. and thats it? what when the beats are stoped? I suppose people dont believe what they dont want to believe and sometimes they never will believe anything as long as they have a small piece of happiness and the sheep mentality is keeping them from straying too far into what they dont know. I hope y'all get my point!
do you not think its very very important to get people spreading this info as much as possible.
Really, now, you are taking something someone posted to a mailing list - a document claiming all sorts of conspiracy theories that's at least a year old - and believing every word of it as gospel. Im not saying it's true, I'm not saying it's bullshit but you can't just accept such things blindly. That only makes you into a fool. Are you still waiting for that fat check from Bill Gates for forwarding that email a few years back? I hope you get my point.
You want to do something? Go to the library and start looking up the original print sources for these claims. Just because it says it was in Newsweek doesn't mean it really was. Once you've satisfied yourself that every word is true then you can start "doing something" like getting on the radio to make people aware, or creating a website.
Dont know about your morals mate but thats a wee bit more important than the KLF, and more important that you discussing whether this is relevant or not.
Incorrect. This is a list discussing a pop group. Political discussion, unless inspired by the antics of said group (ie money burning), are irrelevent here. If you want to talk politics or conspiracy theories there are plenty of other forums to do this. At klf@mailman.xmission.com the only thing that's important are the KLF.
