I first heard this track in the mid to late 1990s
A close friend and fellow KLF collector had acquired the
fully labelled / sleeved copy of PT3 and bought it over to see what I thought
it was.
The Love Trance track caused us both some concern and
continued to do so until 2009 when a certain skip related event confirmed its
authenticity in my mind.
The “b-side” track was obvious and unmistakably
The KLF… and because of the strange Godzilla sounding roars that permeate
the track we figured it must be the Monster Attack mix.
Since then whenever the Love Trance 12inch topic arises I
have always referred to the b-side track as the monster attack mix although
that is without any sort of external validation.
I guess strictly speaking it would be more accurate to call
it What Time Is Love (strange Godzilla sounding wailing noise mix) but unless
someone can actually show me a copy of KLF 004M, play it and show me it is a
completely different item all together I guess for simplicity’s sake I will
still refer to the PT3 track as the monster attack mix.
Just my 2cents worth

But that's (supposed to be..) KLF 004M. I've been wondering about the
same thing, is it really confirmed that MA mix is B-side of 006T?
And..has anyone confirmed that MA mix circulating and pressed on LT
vinyl really is MA mix?
