notable in the fact that at the very end of the "recital", he says pleasuredrome, and not pleasuredome. A fact I always found confusing given TH's well-documented attention to detail. Perhaps it was Paul Morley on recording duty that day, and that's how he thought it should sound (!!!). Jon Whitney wrote:

The spoken-word introductions to both 12-inch <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12-inch_single> mixes are adapted from Walter Kaufmann <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Kaufmann_%28philosopher%29>'s 1967 translation of Friedrich Nietzsche <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Nietzsche>'s / The Birth of Tragedy <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_Tragedy>/. The recitation on the first 12-inch ("Real Altered") is by Gary Taylor, whilst that on the second 12-inch ("Fruitness") and the cassette is by actor Geoffrey Palmer <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_Palmer_%28actor%29>.
I am looking for a copy of these tracks, can some one help me?
thankx
