I think the list probably still serves a purpose. There=E2=80=99s some =
who are adverse to social media, so if they ever finish streaming the =
Sample City Thru Trancentral collection, they can be kept in the loop.=20=

And maybe they have news that is missed by the Facebook group.

I mean about Nov 1991, I operated the first internet KLF interest list =
(under my still-occasionally-used pseudonym&nbsp;"Culf").&nbsp; It was =
crude, just a roughly-two-weekly newsletter compiled by me and sent to =
an ever-increasing Bcc: list of addresses with notes and contributions =
being sent from all over the world.<div><br></div><div>Anyway, you don't =
need the gory details, but I had to give it up just&nbsp;as the KLF =
appeared to be imploding in May 1992, and Lazlo took over the mantle in =
November, making it a "proper" internet discussion mailing list.&nbsp; =
It will maybe be interesting to look back and try and document that =
history some time ...<br><div><br></div><div>To the present day, as has =
been discussed, Lazlo is no longer really active, and the list has been =
in sore need of some moderation lately.&nbsp; Mike Brown and I have =
attempted to reach out&nbsp;to Lazlo, who I've occasionally exchanged =
odd words with over the years, but nothing substantial.&nbsp; Anyway, he =
hasn't responded, so with the help of the folks at xmission, I've been =
made (potentially interim) list owner.</div><div><br></div><div>There =
are various&nbsp;list matters to be handled, such as pages of held =
postings.&nbsp; Some will be spam, some might be so old they are not =
worth forwarding on now, and some will be worth releasing.&nbsp; But =
note they may be quite old so you may start to see messages relating to =
conversations from a very long time =
ago!<br></div><div><br></div><div>I've updated the list description a =

these days.&nbsp; For better or worse, most of the action happens in the =
Facebook groups.&nbsp; I know some here want nothing to do with =
that!&nbsp; Not yet clear if additional moderators are needed, but drop =
me a private note to express an interest.&nbsp; Previous list moderation =
experience always helpful for that not always necessary.&nbsp; Perhaps =
this list no longer really serves a useful purpose, but at least now if =
that's the case we have the ability to put it to rest with some =
dignity.&nbsp; Or, if we still want it, let's try and get it a bit =
active.<br></div><div><br></div><div>If you think anything needs =
attending/updating/whatever, let me know.&nbsp; There were some issues =
with the archives but I think they got resolved a couple of years ago, =
on the other hand the archives may not even be =
complete.</div><div><br></div><div>Jethro (or, as in the old days, =
