New picture of B&J? Anyway, the nostalgia in this article - especially for us old skool Kollectors - should just make you weep!
Thank you for this moment of nostalgia! I guess Pete Robinson is about my age, and when I started collecting KLF items in 1992 (a bit late, I know - but hey, I'm from Austria) I soon came across Record Collector magazine at Virgin Megastore in Vienna (now closed). Esprit Mailorder was where I ordered my first JAMs vinyls (It was Down Town, Whitney and Shag Times, I still can recall). The record stores in Soho have been an epiphany to me, I remember Sister Ray, Reckless Records and others on Berwick Street. By the way, Pete Robinsons Biography was the first KLF bio I've read. Still must have it somewhere in my basement, I can recall that neon pink cover... Then in 1995, the Internet became visible to me - and soon I found this mailing list and other online resources. Wow - I'm just feeling like getting old :) Best regards Bert
