I seem to be having a problem with “all” other players except WMP 10after my new install.  All other players that I have tried seem to hang up. Even the aforementioned foobar2000. It is really strange.

Is it?  I'm using 2.91 because I thought that was.  And yeah, it certainly got out of control after that.

WinAmp is and always has been my player of choice.
