i heard about his passing on saturday, was kinda sad about the loss of Bergman earlier in the week but was oddly way more upset about Tony, difficult sod that he was
you have to give credit to someone with that amount of conviction, arrogance, gusto
we are losing too many musical figureheads like him with apparently no-one to fill their shoes
ironic that it looks like New Order are splitting up for real this time, with a bit of a Pink Floyd situation on the cards...Wilson would have loved that =)

Not quite OT ...
Remember he introduced 2K at the Barbican ("good evening, and fuck you too")? And then he's in
the Omnibus doc watching the "Burn a Million Quid" film? And in "24 Hour Party People" (the book) he mentions that Drummond and Zoo were a influence (across the Pennines) on early Factory. And in "24 Hour Party People" (the movie) he gets a commentary on the DVD where he talks about the "Factory Vs. Zoo" event that happened in 1980. There's a poster on the wall in one scene, which apparently was chronologically incorrect.
Anthony H Wilson. RIP, indeed.
