A simple question:
Where did the title "What Time is Love" come from?
I can understand almost every other KLF title, be they Illuminati references or very bad puns ("Doctorin' the Tardis" and "The What Time is Love Story" being two good examples of the later) - and "3 AM Eternal" makes sense as a reference to dance culture at the time (even "Madrugada Eterna" makes a stab at a Spanish version of the same idea - a perpetual dawn).
But why "What Time is Love"? Is it a pun, referring to either of its two melodic antecedents (Anne Clark and "Jesus Christ Superstar"), like "Last Train to Trancentral" hinted at The Monkees, and the JAMs early obsession with them?
What, in short, does it mean? Any ideas?
John
PS - The worst KLF pun, I think, is "Stand by the Jams". Any other takers?
