Can someone up the file to my server?
Oh, please, please, PLEASE get a clue! I uploaded it to your server last weekend. I sent you a private email telling you that I had done so. You replied to me thanking me for doing so. The file is sitting in the root directory of your FTP sever in open view. And on top of all this, if you actually read the entire message that you replied to (and simply quoted verbatim, rather than summarising, as is always good netiquette) you would find that I just told Thomas that the file was there for all who were interested to download. All of these things made your post totally redundant. Do you not see that? And you didn't place "[FTP]" in the subject line either. This isn't a flame. This isn't even a rant. (Well, not entirely.) You've complained in the past that you're self-taught in the ways of the internet and that we "old hands" expect too much. So please just think of this message as an education in the ways of maintaining a friendly and useful mailing list. (Our recent newcomers might learn from this too.) Michael
