Not necessarily- he still seems to be a pretty high-profile and sought-after producer. For example his recent credits include work on Madonna's album, and branching out into doing remixes under his own name. I've always felt that the KLF's polished stadium house sound on tracks like Last Train To Trancentral owes at least a little to him.
