With Zone Alarm you'll need to enable FTP traffic (TCP Port 21) to and from RM's server. That way you'll still be firewalled but can access his server. C

On Thu, 22 Jan 2004 11:10:56 -0700, "RMStringer" <RMStringer@peoplepc.com> invaded my consciousness with the following:
This is the only way for people to get access to my ftp. Go to http://www.klf.de/home/ and look at the Gray Banner for my ftp details. Please for the sake of the list and me having to answer all the LOG in questions all the time, please go to http://www.klf.de/home/ and get the info yourself. Thankx,
RMStringer
I finally got in! It was someone's suggestion that you could use reget or some such that prompted me to try with my download manager, Flashget. Had to work out how to turn off PASV, then I had to shutdown Zone Alarm, because it refused to let me have a directory listing until I did. I'll have to work on that. Do you have a static IP? I may be able to put your IP in my trusted zone. I hope I didn't manage to do anything to break any rules while I was experimenting.
