...and the "music" / "roots music" sample also appears in a Weatherall-remixed Orb track:
Plus, the WTIL Moody Boys remix has the same (?) loop as the Orbital Dance Remix of Huge Ever Growing....and Perpetual Dawn has similar meaning as Madrugada Eterna... Speaking of sampling, I'm sure they re-recorded the "Egyptian Reggae" bassline for the 3AM remix, as it sounds unlike the original.

This.

was recorded by Cymande in 1972.
It may have been directly sampled and slowed down to create the deeper
dubbed out sound or alternatively the words may have been re-recorded
elsewhere and sampled from that. not sure

This is about as tenuous as it gets but..
The beginning of WTIL Moody Boys vs The KLF the Rastafarian guy says: THIS
is a rastafarian folk song...
At the beginning of Massive Attack there is a sample of a guy and he says
THIS....
It sounds the same to me, and I've always thought it. Might be a
koincidence, might me the same. I love samples and the way we stumble across
stuff we've heard before.
