It would take me too long to work out my top 5, in fact I wouldn't know where to start... So hereÂs the last 5 IÂve listened to: On now: Death In Vegas - The Contino Sessions Fantastic dirty beats in a Chemicals/Primals/concrete mixer type incident. Can't wait for the new album. This morning: Moby  Everything Is Wrong Cos it has been in my CD player, waking me up for the last few days! Like someone else said earlier, there are some classics on there, but a little cheesy at times! (Mine isn't the DJ mix version  I may have to search for that one!) Yesterday: DJ Shadow - The Private Press Cos I bought it yesterday! After a couple of listens, I'm fairly impressed with it. Time will tell if I rank it up there with Entroducing. Similar style to his first album. Unfortunately the 2 disc version is only available on import and I couldnÂt wait 4-6 weeks for it, so went with the single disc... & X-Press-2  Muzikizum Also bought yesterday! IÂve got a few of their old 12"s but I hadnÂt heard anything from them for ages, until I heard the trak with David Byrne  Lazy. After only one listen, I think that along with Lazy, there are a few other outstanding tracks but the rest are fairly ordinary. It's one of those albums that I'll probably listen to quite a lot over the next couple of months, then will relegate it to the bottom of the pile and pull out in a years time. But time will tell ;-) Saturday Aphex Twin  Selected Ambient Works (the first one, can't remember the years!) I was so nervous on Saturday afternoon, before the England game that I needed something soothing to calm me down. Worked a treat ;-D Probably my favourite Aphex album and if I did spend a couple of days thinking about my top 5, this may well get a look in. I don't really know where to start with this one... When I got it, it totally blew me away. I'd heard his Peel session before getting SAW, but it didn't prepare me for it. I think Richard has been one of the few genuinely innovative people in music (esp dance) over the last 10 years or so. I've got most of his releases (collection rivalling my KLF collection!) and the majority are fantastic, but the more recent ones are a little hard to listen to... The man is a genius and we beat the Danes! Bring on Brazil! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
