Ray you refer to the xdollarx archive but I just joined the group and can't find this...is there an archive of old mails somewhere?

Oh, and the site that hosts the Alternate Jams stuff is MP3s.com not MP3.com as I stated...in fact try this link http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/5/the_jams.html ...although I recently got a mail to the effect that the site is soon shutting down. These tracks are kinda funny but less interesting from a musical point of view to the previous offerings Viva Viagra and 3AM (Impure Trance 1). Not sure if there have been any tracks 'in between' these as I understand Viva/3AM were available some years ago. Be interesting to find out if there is a full '2987' album though I doubt it somehow...

Hi again...thanks 4 info on Alternate Jams.
Will follow this up and post 2 the xdollarx group.
There have been loads of suggestions as to Michael K's
aliases and collaborators obviously but a guy on the
xdollarx group, blystery, has connections with
Metalheadz and the Medicine club near the Foundry in
London. He says that most recently, Kemistry of
Metalheadz told him that K is working with Peter
Cunnah (of D:Ream fame about 10 years ago) as LocDawn
and OverRide for a bunch of Drum and Bass mixes that
may resurface as the new X$X singles (my theory).
Somewhere in the xdollarx archive, there's something
about Peter Cunnah and Michael K...was looking but
couldn't find it just now.
Cunnah's D:Ream was originally a very underground-cred
outfit before going pop (in more ways than six). Seems
to me that K is committed to defying pigeonholes by
just doing whatever.

There's so much coming at me just now on X$X Ireally
need a week to draw it together. It seems to happen
that way...somplete silence and then blitzkriegs.
What I'd really like to get my hands on are the radio
promos from 2001 and the (new) radio promos that aired
on radio Merseyside in the past month according to
reliable sources.

have also been hearing more on supposed connections
with cauty and Blacksmoke but taking this easy as
there was a lot of confusion about K's DJ dates a
while back in Holland with (rather than AS) Kid
Vicious.

As u can tell, I'm running low on processing time for
my course and X$X.
