at circa 8.20am this morning jarvis cocker as guest editor on the bbc radio 4's "today" program invited bill drummond to tell listeners his 2009 new years resolution

 

bill resolved to explore and expand upon his project "the 17"

 

he also set out a new score for listeners to participate in... listeners were invited to stop what they were doing and think of a sound that had had a life changing impact and how that sound had effected the listener then the listener was invited to spend the same amount of time imagining a sound that might have the same profound effect in the listeners future
