It just seems mostly in interwebland that liberal ideas are mostly the majourity. Someone once explained and interesting theory behind this, but I've forgotten most of it. I'll look though.
and ironic as the internet was created by a reactionary right wing organisation (from a US military project to link its nuclear bases around the world). Still it is uncannily similar to the fact that the post WWII boom in the recreational use of drugs (which has spawned the so called liberal counter culture) was initiated specifically by the CIA, Dept of Defence and others through the MKUltra project et al, and through demobbed troops having a craving for amphetamines after getting a taste for them in the forces. Howard Mark's book 'Dope Stories' has some great articles on this. Mind you he's ex MI5. Spooky how these guys keep showing up in unikely surroundings. B&J have a lot to answer for.
