It would have been a Mac font because Slim Smith at Designland did all the layouts. He used to boast he could knock out a sleeve in an hour.
 
I think compacta is the "nearest" though.

Everyone seems to agree that it's "Compacta", but I think this changed over the course of the JAMs/KLF history as, in some of the original JAMs stuff, the brackets are rounded, whereas the Compacta brackets are 'squarer'
 
Does this make sense?
