It might be worth trying to identify the Scottish voice doing the Psalm reading on the track (it's not Bill, or indeed his dad, the Reverend Jack Drummond). It's not an actor's voice I recognise - the only person I can think it might be is renowned punk-poet and Edinburgh drunk Jock Scott. If we had the name of the actor reading, then it might make it easier to find the track through a search engine (I suspect it's *not* Blacksmoke, actually). It sounds more like Godspeed! You Black Emperor (and ambient/experimental band which people really should investigate). "Open the Gates" does seem to be part of a lineage, though, starting off which "Such a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation" on Drummond's solo album, through the unreleased KLF kover of "Born Free" and the wind-swept "J&A" on JAMSCD6 ... spoken word and atmospherics. Sorry I couldn't shine more light, but hopefully these thoughts could provide a few leads. John
