I absolutely don't think they had any masterplan. Remember B&J used to flit about from one latest idea to the next constantly changing direction and scrapping everything. In particular, Chill Out wasn't conceived and ambient house even "discovered" until the autumn of 1989 with the legendary Alex and Jimi DJ sets at Heaven and trancentral, so it can't have been part of a pre-Kylie plan. (Having said that, I absolutely agree that Madrugade Eterna is an excellent track, and I don't know why it wasn't released.) from what I can gather, it is the Illuminati who have the master plan, the conspiracy, the JAMs are on the side of chaos and deliberately eschew planing in favour of intuition.
