I would advise against the glue method because tiny residues could stay within the grooves. Of course, the best way to clean a record would be a professional cleaning machine, but I get very good results with this technique: * Remove the dust from the record with a carbon fibre record brush * Mix 1 part of Isopropyl alcohol with 2 parts of distilled water, add a drop of dish washing soap * Wet the record with this mixture using a micro fibre towel * Leave it there for ~1 minute * Rinse the record with distilled water * Dry it with another micro fibre towel * Proceed with the other side Best regards Bert ---------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht ---------- From: Hans Hedman <ravekommissionen@gmail.com> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Cc: Date: Thu, 1 Mar 2012 14:38:12 +0100 Subject: Re: [KLF] Vinyl Love I find that washing with water and dish washing soap gives an equally good result and takes less time, just remember to wipe off the water with a cloth that doesn't leave fibres on the record. /Hans
