Whiskey from the Isle of Jura. I was briefly amused but didn't buy it to try it. Anyone had any?
Er, well, I have, but I suppose that's not surprising! Jura is a famous whisky-producing island, and its malts have a particularly peaty flavour. However, Jura's sister isle of Islay is even more famous for making whisky. My personal favourite is Laphroaig (pronounced "la-froig") which is distilled on Islay. Jura has a malt called "The Isle of Jura", which can be found here: http://www.isleofjura.com/ Slainte! John PS - Scots whisky, unlike the Scottish rave scene, never has an "e" in it.
