Regarding
this item I have several different UK versions of this, one with a big black
and white KLF logo on the back a version with just small text on the back also
a copy with no bar code(original?).I think the reissue version had the inside
artwork back to front, I also have a W/L single version of the album do not think this is the
German RTD do not know the Cat. NO. is if any one is interested I will give
more info. Lastly I have a few W/L copies of this album each one has a
different side letter scratched on the pressing plate when it was pressed?
Hope this has confused everybody!
Si

Subject: Re: [KLF] Shag Times
vinyl question
Are you sure?
There were a lot of 'reissues' around this time including most of the Pure
Trance singles and I always thought these were legitimate, after all the KLF
were still (just about) around at this time.
Regarding the
original query, on original copies of Shag Times the back of the sleeve
contained white words on a black panel, whereas on the reissue/bootleg the
writing was black on a white background. I have the 1992 version and the inner
sleeves are clear plastic/sellophane like the Pure Trance reissues, so the
original issue may have had paper inner sleeves (like the black paper inners of
the original Pure Trance singles).
