ah, RMS is a good cunt. He means well. He just hooked me up with a hard to find track i've been searching for on slsk, for which I'm gratefull. I used to bitch on here about him, but that just created more negative nobbery, and the snowball effect continued.
yes, peer guardian with the slsk up (the wishilists NEVER fail) is a good suggestion to all.
I don't want to get too involved in this ongoing theme (which seems to take over the list intermittently) but Rob I would suggest checking file sharing clients such as Soulseek ( slsknet.org) when you are looking for old/slightly obscure music, as with some patience & persistence I think you would find most of the stuff you have been looking for. Can be used in conjunction with Peerguardian (not sure of the link) apparentlyAt your own risk though, and i'm not condoning its use, I just know a little about it!Whether criticisms are justified or not, when it appears to piss a number of people off you might want to abstain from such posts, and certainly add an OT at the start which you missed in your recent request for Reflexon Sunday, May 7, 2006, Chris wrote...

seriously. i think rmstringer is a detriment to this list. look at it
this way - who is he making HAPPY? there are a lot of people he
upsets, and some people just don't give a damn, but who thinks his
posts are worthwhile? i almost quantified that statement with "...when
they're on-topic", but i can't remember the last time he posted
anything that was. except to say that all the files mh79 was putting
on rapidshare were on his ftp, too.
he's just the kind of guy who you know that when he was a kid always
pulled the "i'm taking my ball and i'm going home" trick.
