I wouldn't exactly call the list quiet at all.  I've seen tons of posts about Bill Drummond within the last 2 weeks.  There were a few on sample spotting.  I haven't heard much about Jimmy, but I believe he's been working on the new Orb album and on another project called Custerd.  I tend to prefer quality posts over quantity anyway.  If you're just looking for sheer use of bandwidth you might check out the Orb list.  Only about 15% Orb content though...
