If anyone is interested in meeting up before the "event" at the Barbican (don't want to call it a gig as it more than likely won't be.....) I'd love to hear from you. Even though I'm in Central London, and live about 10 minutes away from the Barbican I don't know a great deal about bars in the area, so a suggestion as to where, and when to meet would be good. I'm guessing that as it starts at 1930 that 1830ish would be a good time to meet.
I proposed this the other day - no replies so far but I think a few people are coming along here, I can be there from about 6ish ... ------>8------ There's a pub called the King's Head which is a stone's throw away from the entrance to the Barbican Centre. It's on the corner of Chiswell St and Silk St, see the red marker on this image: http://cow.uk.eu.org/~cow/tmp/map.jpeg I think the event will be in the blue building below the red marker. The entrance is where the [P] parking symbol is, on Silk St. The tunnel between Barbican tube station and the pub is Beech Street, the greyed out road. ------8<------ Please let me know if anyone's planning on turning up to the King's Head, as otherwise I'll stay in my local round the corner until the show starts. Feel free to mail me for directions, travel tips, lifestyle advice, insider dealing tips, Tourettes-inspired insults, TV listings, hotel prices and job offers. Or not.
