On a sad note I just found out that Scott's dad, David died recently.
 
Sorry to be a downer but here's the obituary.
 
David Piering, 86

FALLBROOK -- David p. Piering, 86, died Monday, April 25, 2005.

Born Aug. 22, 1918, in Duluth, Minn., he lived in Fallbrook for 30 years. He retired after 25 years as the president and founder of Diversified Wire and Steel Corp. in Los Angeles. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater and received the Bronze Star. He enjoyed playing golf.

Mr. Piering was preceded in death by his wife, Adele Piering, in 1990; and son Scott Piering in 2000. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Hilary Piering of London; and two nephews.

No service will be held at the request of the deceased. His cremains will be scattterd at sea.

The family suggests donations to the Boys & Girls Club of North County, 445 E. Ivy St., Fallbrook, CA 92028.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is handling arrangements.
